Fukukoma is about a 10-minute drive from Japan's oldest castle tower, the “Maruoka castle”, which is located in the northern part of Fukui Prefecture.
Since their founding way back in 1753, Fukukoma has been making high quality and distinctly flavored sakes. You can taste the brewmaster’s vast brewing knowledge, professionalism and spirit in every bottle that is made.
Fukukoma's products are brewed with locally-produced “Yamada-nishiki” rice which is a top sake rice. In addition to the excellent quality of rice, water purity and accomodating geographical conditions are also vital factors influencing the processing and production of Fukukoma’s delightfully tasting sake recipes .
"We are not just making excellent sake, we are also contributing to the local community by using only the finest locally-grown products."
Mr. Naokuni Kubota
