Spare & unwanted natural resource turned into premium crafted & sustainable cider
The Garden Cider Company was formed in 2010 by Ben and Will Filby, and have been making cider in a unique way; we craft a range of ciders sourced entirely from community donated apples. We take any type and amount of apple and share the cider we make with those who give us the fruit, currently with over 3000 registered members who each year bring us their spare and unwanted garden apples. It has been a long journey to get this far and we are very grateful for all the support and patience we have received. This is our first years cider, we're very happy with it and hope you enjoy it.
We use over 100 varieties of local apples to create the Garden Cider Original.
Each tank is naturally fermented and left to mature for a year. The result is a clean, crisp & fresh tasting cider. It is light on the palate, with good balanced acidity. It is a reflection of the quality we are proud to use this abundant, natural, and largely wasted resource and create this crafted, premium, and quality cider.
